What is Thai broken rice?

Broken rice is made of the rice kernels that break during milling, separated from whole grains and sorted by size. A1 Super is the best-known Thai grade of 100% broken rice. It has the same nutrition as whole rice but costs less, which makes it a popular raw material for food processing, brewing and feed.

What is A1 Super broken rice?

A1 Super is a Thai grade of 100% broken white rice, made from kernels that broke during milling and sorted by size. It is widely used for rice flour, noodles, brewing, snacks and animal feed.

Is broken rice lower quality than whole rice?

Broken rice has the same nutrition as whole rice. It is cheaper because the grains are broken, not because of lower food quality, which is why food manufacturers choose it as a raw material.

Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ) for Thai broken rice?

Order quantities for Thai broken rice are agreed directly between each buyer and our export team, based on grade, packing and delivery schedule. It can also be combined with other rice types or bag sizes in a mixed container, and regular buyers can arrange scheduled shipments.
