Trio rice is a blend of three Thai rices, typically white jasmine rice, red rice and purple Riceberry rice. The mix gives a colourful, textured rice that cooks together in one pot. The blend ratio is agreed with each buyer and stated on the quotation and pack.

Designing your trio rice product
Most trio blends are built on white jasmine rice, with red rice and Riceberry adding colour and whole grain content. A higher share of whole grains gives a darker, nuttier blend; a higher share of jasmine keeps it softer and milder.
